VA Center for Innovation

Partnerships are the cornerstone of creativity, innovation, and progress. VA's Center for Innovation operates a partnership program that fosters collaboration with the private and public sectors, as well as academic institutions. Collaborating allows VA and its partners to optimize resources and share technical expertise. Importantly, the partnership function provides incentives that may help speed the commercialization of federally developed technology.

VACI is committed to partnering with creative, innovative, smart, and disruptive organizations to ensure the most meaningful and effective services are available for our Veterans. These partnerships are living relationships, ever evolving to directly support VA objectives (e.g., eliminating homelessness, resolving the claims backlog, and improving mental health services) and to ensure sustainable innovation at VA.
